All Home Owners have questions when it comes to the security and service of their home while away. At Jamrich Properties, LLC, we know that each home presents a unique set of concerns and that each owner has questions that pertain to their individual home. Here are some of the questions most frequently asked:
Yes, all of the minor ones. We suggest you leave the main appliances plugged in and just turn them down to vacation mode. The refrigerator/freezer is an excellent place to store any foods that might attract ants.
We will run those on each inspection, for it prevents the seals and traps from drying out and to prevent unpleasant odors.
You may if you desire, but we do not find that necessary, and we will turn it on upon are inspections, and then turn it off after if you prefer.
We just suggest you turn the temperature down to vacation mode, we inspect the unit and lines on each visit.
The air conditioner should be set on cool/auto with a temperature of 80 degrees. The Humidistat should be set at 65 degrees or per your manufacturer's instruction sheet.
Remove all foods from cupboards and seal in plastic bags and place in refrigerator/freezer. Throw out any foods that will not keep.
Have your pest control service spray before your departure, and then we will review on each visit and if need have your company out to re-spray.
Yes, we monitor that each service company is performing satisfactory service and we have the name and phone number of each company.
That is a personal decision for many. We suggest a timer on one lamp inside, as for outside we do not find it necessary unless you are in a remote area.
Yes, we have many licensed professionals we work with on a daily basis, and have a very good working relationship with them.
